I’ve recently finished work on the new Funeral for a Friend album artwork for the deluxe edition of ‘Welcome Home Armageddon”. This was an awesome project to work on and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Above is the Deluxe Edition version.  The album itself is amazing!

We havnt been allowed to release this until now, but this is the new FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND cover art that we have been working on with illustrator Rianne Rowlands. Album to be released in March.

This is a shot of a project i’m currently working on.  This is the biggest piece of music based work tat i’ve had the pleasure of working on, and i’m really happy with how its coming out.  The binoculars are a 50’s style and are built from scratch in illustrator.  They can be seen below without texture / editing.

I’ve been working with an awesome illustrator, Rianne Rowlands who has pulled out all the stops and produced the most amazing work for this release.
This is just corner shot from the release as a preview.  I’ll post up the rest when I have the clearance from the Label & Management.
You can view the shot on my Dribbble account Here!

Tiger Please - They Dont Change Under Moonlight.
Working on the artwork for this CD around 18 months ago was a great project, Leon knew exactly what he wanted and referenced a lot of the imagery to his lyrics as intelligently as he does in song.
A year on since its release, Tiger Please’s - They Dont Change Under Moonlight  is better than ever.  Last night I went to the Anniversary show of the CD’s release to watch the band play it from start to finish and I have to say, it was one of the better live performances i’ve ever seen. Amplifying the night was a surprise secret set from Funeral for a Friend playing new material from their current EP and un-heard, un-recorded material thats yet to be released.
Rather than me review an EP that has already been reviewed to death, I thought i’d point out some of their successes and give some info towards upcoming milestones.

This EP gained a 4 / 5K rating from Kerrang, 4.5 / 5 from Alter the Press and a 4 / 5 star review from Punktastic.Tiger Please have  toured with Funeral For A Friend,  Kids In Glass Houses, InMe and Twin Atlantic, and after releasing another very well recieved EP ‘Seasons’ are currently going on to write and record their first full length album.

The album will cleverly be written about their fans life stories, and they are currently taking submissions of stories to put towards these ideas.

So if you have a story about something significant that has happened in your life, wether it being a happy or sad story and want it to be made into your very own song please email leon.stanford21@live.co.uk

Although a year old, They Dont Change Under Moonlight is definitely a CD to pick up if you havn’t already.  You can buy it from:
Walnut Tree RecordsiTunes
And listen to it on Spotify here. But buy the CD and you’ll get some of my artwork too :)
